Terms & Conditions

DEPOSITS AND PAYMENTS

1. A 50% deposit of the total invoice amount is required to secure your scheduled services. The deposit is non-refundable.

2. The remaining 50% is due one month prior to the scheduled services.

3. If your scheduled services are less than one month away at time of booking 100% of payment is due.

4. A 20% gratuity will be applied to 10 or more services.

5. We accept PayPal, Venmo, Most Credit Cards, Crypto Currency and Cash.

IF YOU WISH TO MAKE CHANGES OR CANCEL

1. All requests for changes or cancelations must be made only by the client in contract.

2. Requests for adding services on top of your original scheduled services can only be approved if time and resources will allow. A 100% non-refundable payment is required for all add on services.

3. Adding extra people on the day of, may jeopardize the quality of work or delay the ceremony and is our sole discretion whether time allows.

4. If you wish to cancel any of your scheduled services, you must request the cancellation in writing no less than 30 days before your schedule services and you will forfeit 50% of that service fee and will be collected from your deposit.

5. If you wish to cancel any services in less than 30 days before your schedule services you will forfeit 100% of the service fee.

7. In the unfortunate event that you have to cancel your contract completely, you will forfeit all deposits & payments.

8. All Deposits & Payments collected by CTL Artistry are non-refundable.

IF WE WISH TO MAKE CHANGES OR CANCEL

1. In the unlikely event your CTL Artistry team artist is unable to attend on the scheduled services day, due to illness or any unforeseen circumstances, all efforts will be made to find an alternative artist to stand in.

2. If an assisting artist is needed and they are unable to attend we may ask for an earlier start time to accommodate.

3. If any CTL Artistry team artist is made to feel uncomfortable in any way, or mistreated, or if anyone becomes abusive/violent or displays any offensive behavior, we have the right to immediately cancel that service without refund.

4. In the event of extreme weather conditions, earthquakes or other acts of God, we will need to discuss safe options and/or cancelation. The services will be refunded excluding the trial and all deposits.

IN THE EVENT OF DELAYS ON THE WEDDING DAY

1. In the event that we experience unforeseen delays on the day which are out of our control due to clients being late/not being ready when we need them or them not following our instructions to carry out our efficient work, refunds will not be given.

2. In the event that one or more services are forfeited as a result - no compensation will be offered if we overrun.

3. If you are aware of factors, which could delay or hinder our arrival,  please advise us as soon as possible so we can factor this into our plans.

4. No refund or compensation can be offered for delays caused by other wedding vendors, guests, or members of the bridal party.

6. If you suspect any member of your bridal party may pose as a challenge in any way, they are encouraged to have a trial to avoid potential delays on the day.

7. CTL Artistry team artists are always punctual on a wedding day, but in the unlikely event that they are delayed due to traffic or negligence, any forfeited services will be refunded.

TIME + EFFICIENCY

1. To carry out our work efficiently, we will need a bare minimum of; Electricity / Power Outlets, running water, a table, a chair, sun and rain protection if outdoors, and a working restroom. 

2. 15 minutes is allotted to set up before starting services, and 15 minutes is allotted after services are completed for cleanup and load out .

3. If suitable conditions are not provided, delays can happen. CTL Artistry will not be held responsible if time is lost due to these reasons - please see 'In the event of delays' above.

TRAVEL / PARKING / ARRIVAL

1. Travel fees will apply at 0.58 cents per mile one way ( per artist ), when the services location is more than 25 miles from Alameda, Ca. (Travel fees are additional to parking and tolls) 

2. Client will be responsible for CTL Artistry artists’ Parking, Tolls & Valet fee's at the event, if applicable. 

3. In the event your scheduled services start time is before 7am, an Early Arrival Fee of $125 will apply.

4. Destination locations require ground travel as well as flights and accommodation for the night before the scheduled services (and after if necessary). In some cases a $125 travel day fee may be applied.

PRODUCTS / SENSITIVITIES / ALLERGIES

1. The client must inform CTL Artistry in advance & their CTL Artistry team artist ( the day of ) of any allergies, sensitivities, skin conditions before any services are carried out. This includes before, during and after if any sensitivities or problems have been found.

2. CTL Artistry reserves the right to refuse service at any time if there is a sanitation, infection or health concern.

3. CTL Artistry is not liable for any allergies, allergic reactions, sensitivities or skin/medical conditions that may affect the use of their products and or ability to perform services.

PHOTO COPYRIGHT / SOCIAL TAGS

It's important that we keep on updating our portfolio and social media. Please let us know if you do not wish to be photographed.  We are happy to be photographed on your wedding morning however, please kindly make reference or credit us as the hair and/or makeup artists on your social platforms.
